I went to change his fleece today, and saw some brown spots on it, here's a picture:

What is this? Cause for concern? I can't tell if it's just maybe a piece of poo he stepped in and got smeared around, or what? He typically doesn't poo here, litter box habits are good, but will leave the occasional pellet of poop in this area, whether intentional, or maybe stuck to him I'm not sure.
He's a 2 year old male lop, neutered. Seems very healthy, just had him in to the vet last Monday after adopting him. Eating well (Oat hay, a mixture of greens, 1 tbsp. of pellets a day).
Thanks.
