What is the best brand of Timothy hay?

I’m guessing it’s kms hayloft (I know they have the best guinea pig food) or oxbow. But which one it better? Or does it really matter? I’m about to get some guinea pig food from kms hayloft and was planning on getting some hay also (it would be 3rd cut timothy hay), but wanted to first find out if it was the best. I want the best for my babies.

It doesn't matter. Every "brand" can have verying qualities of hay depending on the batch/farmer/when it was cut.
You can go to Farmer Joe down the road and get hay thats just as good as any overpriced pet store hay.
As long as the hay looks good, smells good, has been kept dry and out of the sun, its good to go, any brand any farmer.

I like hay from the horse barn down the street. *shrug* as long as it is fresh and the buns like it I don't think brands matter since hay is more for fiber.

Yeah that's kind of how i feel about it. I give mine hay from a horse barn as well. I like the oxbow as it usually seemsReally fresh and the buns seem to Really love it. but, because of the expense, I stick with a bale from the local tack/feed shop.

The best "brand" of hay is whatever one your buns eat the most of! Quality is going to depend a lot on your location. Chances are you're going to be able to get good hay available locally from a feed store (try contacting a horse stable if you can't find any). The cost of ordering hay online is not usually worth any difference in quality.
