i bought some craisins for the first time today for the rabbits.

omg the love them. i heard all bunnies do. i wonder why?

anyone else give craisins as a treat? how much is too much?

I once bought a mix dried berries for my bunny. It had raisins, craisins, and apple in it. They loved it. I think rabbits like the tart taste of the craisins? I'm not sure. Maybe 1-2 a day? I'd say no more then 5 though, but I'm no expert! :)

Holly LOVES them. She usually tries to rip the bag out of our hands. We try not to give too many to her as they do have quite a bit of sugar in them.

I limit craisins to 1-2 per day. Devon and Amber love them! They come running whenever the bag is opened:D

peapoo loves them! but im not sure about petey..he's never had them because i cant find them anywhere but target in tiny bags.. i only gave peapoo 1-2 a day

I get mine at the grocery store, in the raisin section.

where can you get craisins? I've never given my rabbits craisins because I don't know where to buy them.
You should be able to find some at the grocery store...OceanSpray makes them, but they have sugar added.
I use to go down to our Farmer's Market and buy ones without sugar. My buns LOVED them and you had to count your fingers after giving them some.

Our MooShu is VERY picky. I tried giving her papaya several times and would find it untouched in the morning. Then she finally decided to taste some...WELL!!!!.....now she pushes my hand away trying to get at it.

How about raisins? Are they safe as rabbit treats? I dont have and craisins but I have a few packs of raisins somewhere.

Like Manda said, they're fine in moderation.

Some bunnies can't tolerate the high iron content in raisins.

My bunny boys learned the sound of the shaking Craisin bag before they learned their own names. They go bonkers for them. It's unbelievably cute to see their little snouts pressed into the fencing on their cage. Kills me every time.

We give 2-3 Craisins a week, on average.
