We'll be having a quiet one too (the way I like it!). My grandparents on both sides will be coming for dinner.

Matt:cool:

P.S. I only wish I could swim on Christmas! I forget that right now its summer Down Under!

We are going to have a very very quietchristmas. My mums side of the family fell out with us about6 years ago, and my dad only has his mum left so we have a small family.

But it will probually be just the four of us in our house christmas day.

I would love to go away somewhere hot for christmas Cheryl! Your so lucky.

My next door neighbour got married last Friday, and have gone on theirhoney moon to lap land with their two year old daughter. Theywanted to go on a slay ride with santa, but when they arrived there afew days ago.... they have no snow what so ever in Lap land!! When normally its about 6 foot. They are sodissapointed.

Butit must mean global warming is kicking in :(

No snow at santa's. Amazing.

Edit: They have had to bring in lorry loads of snow for the slay rides!

Well I'm going on Christmas eve to my aunt on mydad's side, then on Christmasday I'm going to my aunt on mymom's side. So excited! :).

We're just staying home and spending it as afamily. We've always either gone down to San Diego to visitmy husband's family, or gone over to a friend's house (who's wife isnothing short of the rudest person I've ever known, so that wasn't veryfun). This year, we decided to stay home, watch specials onTV, enjoy our own Christmas feast (my husband's thinking of getting usa Honeybaked Ham!), and vegging all day (while my daughter plays withher new toys, hehe!).

It outta prove to be a very nice Christmas! :)There's nothing better than spending the holiday with the people youlove the most. Now, if only we could get my dad to visit usthat day...that would be the capper! He's such an amazingperson! :)

Maherwoman,i just love your idea of just staying home and chilling out! :D

and yes, that is true that there is nothing like spending the holiday with the one's you love.....my two boys :D

Matt

I hope you have lots of fun Spring!

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY AND SAFE CHRISTMAS

I always have Christma with my Mums side of thefamily. Its basically because everyone goes, my aunties and they'rehusbands families come. My dad's family used to come but my parentsdivorced 10 years ago. So at Christmas theres me and my mum (i'm anonly child) with my grandparents, my 2 aunties and they're husband andmy 4 cousins. This year we're at my nans which is just brilliant. Therehouse is a 15th century manor house so it's lovely and big with a bigroaring fireplace and lots of big sofas to sit on. We always have funthere.

Ooooh, sounds lovely :) :holidaycandle:

We're keeping things simple this year. Midnight Mass at the Anglicanchurch my family attends, then home to sleep and to have a relaxingmorning opening gifts and eating breakfast together. My little sisterhas decreed that we play board games, watch movies, and stay in ourpajamas all day. Good enough for me :thumbup

Hehe I would stay in my pajarmas all daybut I think im going to take Rosie, our dog for a nice walkafter christmas dinner And my sistersboyfriend is coming over at some point...

Lap Land is in Finland, near the north pole. Whereyou can visit 'Santa Clause' and go on slay rides, because usually theyhave about 5 ft snow. But this year they have none:shock:
