I went to Turkey for 3 weeks on holiday (which is why I haven't been around) and I met someone on the second day there.
We basically spent the rest of the 3 weeks just together, and since I have been back home all we have done is chat constantly. And I mean constantly.

Anyway he is turkish and owns a bar, so obviously lives in Turkey, but his english is very good. He did tourism and management at University for 4 years. I am going back there for two weeks in august, and then again for another 3 weeks in September before university starts. He even wants me to come and stay with his family.

We are trying to make it work between us. I don't think either of us have felt this way before.

Apparently it is very hard for turkish people to get a visa? Even to visit England? We are both a little confused on the subject and I would really love it if anyone could give me any advice on:
a) him coming to england, which we both want
b) living in england
c) me living in Turkey (just in case)

Thanks- I just can't find anything helpful on the internet.

Anything anyone can tell me would be fantastic. Thanks.

Also can I please ask that nooone gives me relationship advice, or tell me that I am being stupid. By all means think it, but I have had enough of it from people who won't even try and get to know him, so have no idea what they are talking about.

Thanks so much in advance. Also anyone who has had any experience like this pleeaasee reply.
xx

Thanks very much. I will have a look at those.

He has already rung someone but they said it will cost him £8000 so we don't really believe them. That doesn't sound right does it?

Turkey is trying to join the EU but they are not part of it yet. So right now I think it's very hard for Turkish people to live here, and English people to live in turkey.
But Huseyin's friend is married to an English woman, and they both live in Turkey, but only because she is a teacher there. She teaches english in a Turkish school, so I guess she got the visa to live there because she has qualifications they want.

It's all so confusing.

Thanks for the website, Jen. I will have a look into that. I am trying to get my head around all this.
