Well this is a well known question!

What do you want to be when "you grow up"?

Or

WHat did you want to be when you grew up and are you doing it?

I really want to work with animals especially animals - I also love writing and the performing arts.

Mum said to me this morning "You really need to work withrabbits when your olderrebecca!"

And I was just like YUP LOL!

well i am 33 and i still dont know what i want to be when i grow up,lol.

growing up i went through wanting to be everything. I wanted to be a teacher, a hairdresser, a vet, and a nurse. I went to cosmetology school but never pursued it. Now i am thinking of possibly going to nursing while the kids are young so when the kids are all in school maybe i could get out there and work, but we shall see where life takes me.

I want to be a furniture designer, or a carpenter, or a fashion designer, or a wedding dress maker, or a seamstress, or a costumer, .. or... well anything along those lines!

Although I was chatting to one of our school technicians today. He is the drama tech and he does things like set painting, making sets, filming and editing videos, small amount of textile work etc for our schools drama dept. (we are a performing arts school). I think that would be an amazing job!

Marine mammal trainer or zookeeper.

i am psyched cause as the college i want to go they have a zoology program with an emphasis in zoo's and aquarium's! its perfect!

i want to work with animals but i could never be a vet. also, i want a relationship with the animals and i feel that as a vet i wouldn't have that

When I grow up...
I have always said I want to be a vet, but being in an office drives me insane.
I want to work in a bird of prey centre, but I dont want birds of prey to be my job, they are my passion.
I want to work training "bad" dogs, have I got the mental/emotional state to be working with "bad" dogs? Not really.
I want to work in building animal housing, PROPER animals housing, with PROPER sizes, have I the patience? I don't think so, maybe I will run a small home business.
I want to be a PA, heck, my life is a mess, what good would I be to somebody else?
I want to work in a rescue, but I would want to take them all home and would be depressed and cry when one had to be putdown because I know its humans that make the reason for it.
See? Get what I mean about me being a PA? :p

PS. I am watching the "love is noise" video and saw the eagle, it reminded me off why I love birds of prey..I want to be a bird of prey training. :p

I have a list of 100 things to do before I die aswell..

I would like to be a dog trainer or a dog groomer....or...or....or.....every thing of the sort?

Really, as soon as Ryan joins the Navy and we have the money from that to get me into school....I am going to be doing the Penn Foster Online Dog Trainer/Obedience diploma course. So, I will have a diploma in that. I am also thinking of taking the Dog Grooming diploma, as well. From there, I will go through and get my associates...just because I will be a bored/worried Navy wife and should do it any way. Theeeeennn....I will move onto perfecting whatever path I chose.

I plan on going into the veterinary medicine field.. not as a veterinarian, but possibly a veterinarian technician so I have the option to work in clinics, shelters, zoos or labs.. gives a lot of options :). Would love to work in a lab as well.

I still need first hand experience to really know if it's something I'd like to do.. so need to get off my bum and start searching for clinics to volunteer at!

Actually, I have wanted t be just about everything as well.

Ballerina, Hairdresser, Teacher, Vet

The only one that has really stuck is teacher - I always play schools even though I'm 13 I just love playing teachers LOL.

I would never be a vet though because I would cry everytime an animal died :(

So I think I'd wanna be a sub teacher or a rabbit hotel!

wife/mother:nod. that's what i've always said, but now that i'm older(almost 15)that's not good enough. i'm still working on a 'real':)rollseyes) job idea.

Go for the training vs. the grooming aspect if it will be your career. This is coming from an experienced dog groomer who has back-aches and unable to use hands without some dysfunction (always dropping things). Not to discourage you from grooming, but it is very hard on the body depending on how much you want to work. The repetitive motions add up after years of work...

Be happy to tell you about grooming anytime you want...

Preferably I want to be a wealthy philanthropist. Still working on that... I have about $22.50 in my philanthropy fund. Very slow going...
However, if that doesn't work out I want to be a housewife/mother like ladybug. Unfortuantly it seems like people want us to be stuck in a "real" job, so I am studying to become an accountant.
Maybe I should just marry a wealthy philanthropist...;)
