Does anyone know what kind of markings my Kerensa has? Here she is:

She's a 9 month old Holland Lop doe. On her other side she has a little patch of gray up by her shoulder. Her breeder said she started out pure white as a little bitty baby but she's gotten darker over time. When we got her at 10 weeks, the breeder thought she was a broken frosted pearl, but when she saw Kerensa again a couple weeks ago (it was very sweet, Kerensa was one of her favorite babies so she was very happy to see her again and love on her!) she said the markings have become darker and more irregular so she isn't sure. So far Kerensa has been the only baby with these kind of markings that her breeder has produced.

So, what do you think? Also I know it's only one picture, but can you tell what kind of "quality" she is? I only put quality in quotation marks because to me she's the best, most beautiful, highest quality bunny around so quality is subjective :D

Thanks so much!

Blaze Amita, what exactly does blanket pattern mean?

Thanks for the input, you 3! I think Kerensa is so pretty and cute. I swear she's 10 times cuter in real life. She isn't very photogenic for some reason, but people always coo over her in person because she's so darned cute. She is 9 months old but in person still has a very babyish look to her and seems so little and dainty. The funny thing is that even when I got her at 10 weeks, she didn't look very babyish in pictures! I feel incredibly fortunate that she's been perfectly healthy her whole life so far and is such a sweet, lovey, smart little girl.

She looks to be a Sable point I do see some white around her hind quartes and nose but I dont know if she is just really smutty or if she is infact broken would have to see a better picture of her to be for sure

That's oen website I found explaining the blanket pattern.

There's blanket and spotted for brokens. How I used to deem it, blanket brokens are brokens that look like they have a blanket of color on them, with white. Here's a picture of a broken sable point, blanket pattern that I had in my barn at one time. Sadly I sold him.

Not the best picture in the world of him, but he's got a smaller blanket pattern(and he was starting to blow coat too)

Peg, your bunnies are so adorable! I love all bunnies, but Holland Lops are extra cute.

I will get some more pictures of Kerensa later today. Her markings are gray, they look a little brown for some reason in pictures but they're really gray. Her gray parts look odd to me- she doesn't have spots per se, it looks more like she was dusted with gray but there's still a lot of white peeking through. I don't know if that counts as blanket, since blanket appears to be what it sounds like: a solid blanket of color on the bunny.
