Hi there! I am new to this forum (this is my first post, yay!) I am meeting with a lady off of craigslist on Tuesday to adopt a rabbit and I am unsure as to what her breed is. She sent me a photo that I will post in hopes of finding out! She is 6 months old.

:welcome1. Your bunny is defenitly a black Mini Lop, as Hollands are more blocky and wide.

Thank you for the responses! How big are mini lops when fully grown? Or is she already fully grown? I'm extremely stoked to have her, I've wanted a rabbit for the longest time. Even though I wanted one really badly as a child, I think it's good that I've waited until now because now I have my own apartment and she'll have plenty of room to run around and I'm 100 percent sure I have enough time to spend with her!

She looks like she may already weigh too much to be a Holland Lop but maybe that photo is deceptive. I'm also curious as to if I could allow her and my teddy bear hamster to interact. I would think not considering the size difference, but I just thought I'd check!

Here's a picture of my hamster, Baxter :D

They are both super cute! I have heard of people letting small rodents interact with rabbits, but it would have to be under close supervision so no one gets hurt. I would be cautious.

Ollie is such a beautiful color. If she is not already spayed you might want to think about it to prevent reproductive cancers.

Thank you! I am planning on being extremely cautious. I wouldn't want Baxter to bite Ollie or Ollie to kick Baxter and potentially do a lot of harm.

She really is isn't she! I have come to the conclusion that getting her spayed is not an option but a necessity based on what I have read. I just got a new job so I should be able to save up for the surgery pretty fast. I also found a website for a local rabbit shelter in my area that is able to potentially discount the cost of surgery based on your financial standing. I'm going to fill out the application and hopefully I could meet the requirements because it would be very helpful at this time!
