I saw this little guy as a rescue on craigslist. I am not sure the breed, she said she is really soft.
Any help? And can you tell me how large his breed gets?
Thank you.

I believe he's a Rex or Mini Rex. Rexes are classified as medium sized weighing around 3kg (7lb). The Mini Rex is smaller and grow to about 1.4-2kg (3.5-4.5 lbs). He's gorgeous! :)

Well, I WAS thinking about it but then I decided to wait..I actually just took in a netherland dwarf and decided until I move (Which will be at the end of august) its best to wait. I really fell in love with this guy but I think its for the best, plus she was really flaky with the details of the rabbit, saying he was a rescue but I don't think he was, probably a pet she doesn't want anymore. She couldn't provide age or weight, she guessed and said 4 lbs. (I used to work at the exotic shelter, usually I get notified when rabbits/chinchillas/reptiles come in so I can foster or take in)

I hope some good family takes her in, and not just any random person :(

Awww... he is certainly cute! I'd guess he's a Mini Rex, but it's really good that you decided to wait. It's so easy to get overwhelmed. (LOL! And I saw the photo's of the ND boy. Very cute!) I hope the lil Mini Rex finds a good home.

BlueGiants, I know that feeling for sure. But it is also I have a LOT of animals.
Besides my bunnies, I have 2 chinchillas, 2 hamsters, a total of 5 geckos, 2 snakes, 8 bettas, and a goldfish tank.
They are mostly rescues, and I love them all. I already had to make sacrifices, I give 2 one hour play times for the rabbits and chinchillas, but the chinchillas HATE the rabbits so now I have to divide even more time..
Its def no problem for me, I love my animals but I think I really have to consider if a third bunny is right for me, esp since I know once I move, I will be taking in two parakeets from the shelter. (Darn my big heart..)
