I was wondering what breed this is. They think she is a red New Zealand. Daisy

I know the pics are big. I will try and make them small.

Beautiful rabbit! Resembles a chocolate Satin, but it's hard for me to tell without seeing the fur in person.

No, it doesn't mention that she "talks". What's that like? Is she a sweet girl? I get the impression from her pictures that she's a love-bun. I may be way off but that's the feeling that I get. I can't believe that no one has snapped her up yet!

She is a sweet girl, her "faults" slightly messy and the "talking". Mostly the "talking" and the honking seems to make people shy away. An that she is a little older.

She really is stunning, wow ! Is she at the shelter you work/volunteer for Alica?

I love her chocolate colouring, it's unusual in that it appears to have almost otter markings in it, but no white belly? She looks like she has nose and eye rings and also faint tan marking on her inner legs. I would think chocolate tan if her markings were more striking or definete.

She doesn't look like the satins we have in NZ (which look more like paliminos, this girl has enormous ears that look loose at the base) but I LOVE satins, they are one of my favourite breeds, so if she is one you know she has to fly over here, right? :p

The ears aren't the best indicator - I had a broken Chinchilla Satin with big ears like that. He looked rather comical. ;)

I can also see what appear to be faint otter markings. The steel gene darkens tan pattern markings, and would make the belly darker. We had a lot of steels when we bred Satins, and there are also Tan pattern Satins in the US.

However - not saying the rabbit is a Satin, just throwing the possibility out there. Satins are a large rabbit averaging about 10 pounds. With the new Mini Satins, we're also seeing a lot of various mixes and sizes.

Only slightlymessy?! She would fit right in at my house..all 3 of my buns are PIGS! I wish I lived closer :(. I'd love to meet her and bring Max to see if they would like each other.

BTW: Are you thinking of adopting Daisy :pinkbouce:

If we did go ahead with this it would be up to the one we have in mind to bond with...
Isn't that Bunman's Daisy? That's a shame, I read on another forum that he was going to be able to keep her. I feel bad for him, I hope he's okay.
The second one I think might be. Oh man now I really want her so he could still see her. Not up to me though.

Gorgeous rabbit Alicia :biggrin2:ears look like my Sullys maybe there is some beveren in there just by the look of her again they get to be between 8 1/2 and 10lbs in weight.
