It's a mix breed. The vast, vast majority of pet rabbits are mixed breeds and have been for many generations. It's not like dogs where you can guess at breeds and might even end up with an actual breed from a rescue. Cute rabbit. The color is called "broken orange"

Thank you! I was looking back at his papers and it said he's part nether land dwarf and a mix so that's cool I guess

Rescues get frequent "oops" litters - plus no longer wanted, or abandoned rabbits that gave birth, or humans are clueless about separating genders, or in one case a shelter rec'd dozens of rabbits from an individual who could no longer keep. And then there's hoarder situations where rescues and humane societies step in to remove the neglected rabbits.

My breed (meaning me) is mixed with many nationalities from my relatives and European ancestors arriving in the USA; Danish, Polish, German, Belgium. I think my hubby's a mixed breed, too. I would definitely call your boy a lovable and cute mixed-origins bunny! You know for sure Peanut's a boy?

I see some dutch type resemblence from the gal (now 6 yo) that we removed from an old-tech farm environment when she was around 5 months. The old-tech man told us the two buns I took were both boys. Did the rescue mention how they acquired your bun?

Did the rescue have many to choose from when you contacted them?

Yep I'm sure he's a boy, why do you ask?

We got to choose from a bunch of bunnies, some being lops and some being dwarfs I picked peanut (the dwarf) I can tell he's a boy because of his under parts 😂😂😂

Good to know he's got the penis protrusion! Or his gems (testicles) are descended. From experiences, lops can come with dental concerns due to their face structure.

It's wonderful you got to choose from a personality assortment and sizes of buns.
Your handsome Peanut reminds me of our dutches and the coloring of our Flemish and our harlequins.

Luckly he's not a lop, but a dwarf, I love his personality he's a little brat but gave me kisses within the first week of having him! He also flops like 10 times a day!!!! He's always flopping
