I just adopted this female rabbit called Ava she is according to pets at home who mistook her for a boy (luckily she was housed alone!) she was previously 'abused' however we don't know the extent of it. She is a little jumpy however really loving, she is being spayed on the 3rd of December. Anyway it would be nice to know what breed she is she is 4lbs and has kind of medium length hair and is a satin feeling, she is black with white inside ears and under belly, and has a brown triangle behind her head, and randomn brown tipped hairs on her sides. Any help is greatly appreciated :D
this of an image of a rabbit IDENTICAL! in colour, size and shape, the ears are also identical.http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1...84&start=11&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:25,s:0,i:161

Pretty much what everyone else is saying, a Netherland Dwarf with Black Otter coloring.

Congrats, they are beautiful buns!

4 lbs. would be extremely large for a Netherland Dwarf. However, that rabbit does have dwarfy features and black otter is a very common color in NDs. I'd say an ND mix is likely. :)

:yeahthat: Because of the size, I said mini even though the features indicate a mix. Stewart was the product of an accidental breeding with a lop and a nethie--he was right at 4 pounds, looked just like a Netherland except his ears were full length instead of the short nethie ones.
