Sorry, I know there are a lot of these pages but noone has really been able to decide on a breed for my girl Cleo.

Also I just thought I'd confirm, I was told that my boy Bambi was a dwarf lop, is that right?

And the two of them together for a different view

Also, Cleo has one blue eye and her other eye is half blue half brown, apparently this is relevant?

Well Cleo is Vienna marked (that blue/brown eye). Its hard to say on breed though although her fur seems kinda long so she must have some long haired bun mixed with her...Hard to say but I am not a breeder. Bambi looks like a holland lop to me but maybe its called a dwarf lop in Australia? I have never heard of a "dwarf lop" before....

Thats what I thought, I know she has dutch markings but she is so fluffy! So can she be a vienna marked dutch x something long haired? lol is that a thing?

Not sure if dwarf lops are the same as holland lops, thats what the pet shops call them in Australia

I found this on a site, thought I thought Netherlands were different again.

Common Name: Lop - Holland
Other Common Names: Dwarf Lop, Netherland Dwarf Lop
Scientific Name: Oryctolagus cuniculus
Group: Fancy
Origin or Range: Netherlands
Relative Size: Smaller Than Average (as compared to other rabbits)
Average Lifespan: 10 year(s)
Compatibility: Relatively Non-Aggressive (as compared to other rabbits)
Category: Mammals » Rabbits

Ya she would be a Vienna marked dutch mix :)
I goggled "dwarf lop" and I read that the Holland lop is the only breed of "dwarf lop" so I am guessing that your bun is a Holland lop (U.S.A). Plus he looks almost exactly like Toby (another forum bunny) and Toby is a Holland lop....

is your dutch/dutch mix young?? I've had several of my dutch start with a longer coat and shed that out to a normal coat. She does look like one of the ones I have in my barn right now- so she very well could be a pure dutch. bad eye color and everything.

Here's one of my girl Oriel

She's in my better coat condition, this was shortly after I had gotten her, but she's still got that weird long coat. Her babies don't, but she does. She's also thick and stocky like your Cleo. It's possible. Not saying it true, but just don't write it off completely.

I'm not sure how old she is exactly because she was a rescue but we have had her for almost a year and she doesn't seem to have grown for a while

I would agree with Heather because she breeds dutch. I have experienced them to a point because my friend used to show and breed them but I haven't seen everything. The markings are almost spot on for a dutch so I am not sure if the Vienna gene could cause those good of markings. But the one blue and one brown is very suspicious. This one may forever be a mystery but she sure is cute!
