What breed is he?

I adopted Merlin in October of last year at which point they said he was a little under a year. They claimed he was a Flemish Giant/New Zealand mix but I'm wondering if he has Giant mixed in since NZs tend to be large anyway. Thoughts?

The circular thing he's next to is about 1.5 ft tall. He's a little behind it though.

He's a big guy! Very cute. How much does he weigh?

I'm definitely no expert on NZs or Flemmies, but his face looks a bit more Flemmie than NZ to me, which means he could definitely be a mix. I don't think of NZ having such a long nose I guess, while Flemmies do.

Hopefully someone with more experience comes along, but I wanted to say how cute he is

Not sure exactly how heavy he is as he dislikes being held but he is not a lightweight! Thanks. He's definitely a personality.

looks just like our Hoss, except for the ears--they look like Flemish. Probably is a NZ Flemish mix. Good looking guy.
