I think that you'll have to ask around locally for the name of the strain, since they don't resemble any breeds we have here or in the UK. They appear to be a mix of Dutch and a breed of spotted rabbit.
 
People here in Aligarh only know that rabbits come in one breed that is rabbit.
i myself thought that they looked like Britannia Petite.

They are a lot larger than they look
 
Britannia Petites are very tiny.

If the rabbits pictured are very large, they may be a local cross bred for meat production. We don't have a name for them here.
 
Meat Production!
The only meats here are chicken and mutton.

So, i suppose i'll classify them as mutts or common's.
