Hi,

Think this is the right place to post this question... we've got 2 approx 15 week old bunnies and have no idea what breed they are! We were told when we got them that they were crossbreeds, but we can't seem to decide what they are crossed with!

Mouse is the grey one, but lately the fur on her neck/back has been turning a slightly reddish colour, she weighs around 1.25kg. Chalk is the white/grey one, she weighs 1.4kg. Here are a couple of pictures!

(The stillest I could get them to be!)

Any advice is very much welcomed, thanks in advance...

hi i am not sure on the breeds the colour of the first one is agouti and chalk is a broken magpie over here :)

They are very cute they have a face shape like an english but not my area really Pam is one of the best at this :)

I think Polly has the colors right - don't know about what breeds. This could be a challenge for PAMNOCK!!! The amazing walking encyclopedia of rabbits! ;) She's usually really good at those mixed breeds! Once she says it - you see the breeds in there.

Guesses?

Chalk is a Nethie mix and mouse actually looks like Clover so I haven't a clue.

I had thought (at a complete guess since I'm fairly new at the rabbit thing!) that Chalk was a Netherland mix, as she sometimes really looks like one but with longer ears...

I'd also thought Mouse could possibly be a rex mix but then I saw a Rex the other day and changed my mind! :s At the moment if anyone asks us we just say they're a breed of extra cuteness lol! :rabbithop

Thanks for the input!

I was thinking Rex mix for Mouse, too, but I always think rex or mini-rex so I didn't say that LOL!
