We were told American Sable, but now I'm thinking Dutch of some sort...?

Not really sure why you'd think Dutch at all....that white spot on her nose is called a "mismark" according to most breeders I've talked to.

Well with her weight being only 4.5lbs I would say she is some kind of "all American mix" a pure bred American Sable is 10lbs full grown. She is very cute

Thanks for ruling out American Sable for me. I thought Dutch because of that white marking she has around her front. She also threw a Dutch baby once. She's a pet shop baby too, so there really is no way of really knowing.

Looks to be mostly Sealpoint, but with her coming from a pet shop and not knowing the parentage, there's no telling what truly is in the mix. Our strangest is a boy that's half Dutch and Black Otter with both of his eyes being brown and blue.

She looks like a Neherland Dwarf to me. Though I've nver heard of a BUD being 4.5 lbs, so probably a Netherland cross.

Yep, mostly likely a Netherland Dwarf cross. Her ears are nowhere near as short as a Netherland, but they are very dwarfed for a 4.5 lb. breed. So she almost certainly has some Netherland Dwarf in her. The big, bold eyes are another characteristic of that breed.

I can almost assure you that there is not Dutch in her based on her color. If I were to throw out a wild guess, I'd say that she may be Netherland Dwarf x Mini Rex cross. Rex fur is a recessive gene, which is why she would have normal fur despite what she's crossed with. But her head shape and body type indicate that as a possibility.

There is no way of telling breeds of rabbits not purchased from reputable breeders of purebred rabbits. Most rabbits are just mutts or mixes, unlike dogs rabbits are not easy to identify as a breed. They are more like cats in that most are mixed breeds. I find everyone who asks this questions has a similar look of rabbit, dwarf mix.
