Today just about an hour ago, I was cleaning my Black Doe's cage out. And I noticed with the bigger Black had some missing hair by the private parts and there was balls, I took a picture of its privates parts, And i think its a buck, Now my aunt told me that the Blacks were both Does... And when i pressed it down a big thing popped out, about 1/2 inch. You can see it here too. Okay that is out of the way...
Whats the earliest age can a bun have babies??

Thanks, Misty.... *I'm so embarrassed*:lookaround

That is a buck - you'll want to separate them asap.

What breed are your rabbits?

Thanks Pam, That's what I need to know. She told me that they were both Doe's so thats what I thought. And the Buck is with my show Doe. I hope its a doe.. Gosh, This stinks

My neighbor had what she thought were three does - one was a Mini Rex doe, and the other was a Holland doe I gave her but then her brother's girlfriend could not keep her tort Rex "doe" and into the large enclosure "she" went. Apparently "she" was mis-sexed by the pet store "she" was purchased at...

When the kits arrived, I got a panicked call from the neighbor's mom... "We have babies but don't know how as they are all girls..."

I resexed the broken Mini Rex doe and the Holland doe - both were girls for sure. The newcomer, the tort, was definitely a boy - he had "goolies" (I love that rat term for testicles) for sure! He also earned a spot in my herd for the rest of his days until he died at age eight. He did not have a split penis... just someone inexperienced at sexing rabbits. :)

I'd separate them and watch the doe just in case you need a nestbox for her.

I sure am watching her.. I really hope that she is not going to be a mother... She's tooooo young for that stuff right now.

She have been separated last week.. Just how knows if he got hooked while we weren't here or sleeping.. I caught him when we woke up... But we didn't know anything because he was supposed to be a doe.

Now that you know what a buck looks like, you could make sure the other one is a doe or not. Either way keep them separated, until you have them fixed.

The other one is in another cage. And that one is a Buck because about a month ago we had to take him to the vets.. They wont be getting fixed. They are for show and breeding. But not right now until Spring when I need some for my son for the fair. And have other shows this year. So no they wont get fixed.
