Hi to all,
I'm new here since yesterday, where I posted a thread about the decision to euthanize my very sick bunny Earl. I was amazed at the supportive and very informative responses that I received. What an amazing community of bunny folks!
I've been a bunny companion for 2.5 years starting with Ula, my dutch/dwarf/mutt, who me and my boyfriend adopted from our local humane society. She's been such a wonderful companion and is full of personality and love. She's thankfully not had any health issues so far, and is about 4.5 yrs old now.
My sister adopted Earl from the humane society over a year ago and decided that she didn't have room for him, so me and my boyfriend took him in. A grey Netherland dwarf (mix?), he was small in stature and very shy. He had health problems early on (stasis) and then developed a skin infection that he didn't recover from. I miss that little guy dearly, but am realizing that the decision to euthanize was probably the best for him. I just wish he could have lived a longer life.
So now it's just me, my boyfriend, and Ula. I'm excited to participate in this forum futher though and discuss some of her bunny antics!
Nice to meet everyone and thanks for your support and for building this amazing community!!
