What a day!
This morning I was concerned that Devon was going into stasis. Allmorning I was a wreck, because I knew that I had to go to school andcouldn't stay to watch him. My mom said that she would take him to thevet. But apparently he started eating right after I left for the busstop. She came running down the street telling me that he atesomething. However, she still said that she would take him to the vet.Of course, all day I was worried about Devon, so when school let out Iimmediately called her on my cell phone. Thanks to the bad cellreception all I could hear was, "I'm still at the vet's, there's beenan emergency call me in 30 minutes." Then the reception cut out and Icouldn't recconect. I was PANICKED. I was in a cold sweat the whole wayhome. When I got off the bus I ran inside to call again. She told methat Devon was okay and it was another animal that had the emergency, this caused Devon's appointment to be delayed. A dog got hit by a car(thankfully the dog is fine now). But the vet gave Devon an all clear.
After all that, I swear that Devon is out to test my emotions. But I dohave another hypothesis, he wanted more oxbow hay (we get it from thevet). Just yesterday I asked my mom to pick some up because we wererunning out. She said that she couldn't until next week. Devon was inthe room when she said that:shock:.
Sorry if that story seemed like rambling, but I just had to share!
