Pics tomorrow, when it's light enough to take some. XD
I went to the auction today! Lots of poultry. And a few rabbits.
I missed out, since I was busy dealing with someone who was buying a pair of dwarfs from me outside... So I didn't get to be in the auction. (I was really gunning for a couple of NZ does.)
I missed ALL of the rabbit part of the auction. =/ So I found the person that bought the majority of the rabbits and offered a few bucks over what they bought them for. He wouldn't let me take the senior NZ doe (even tho i offered 20, when he paid 7...), since he wanted to breed them... But he let me take a junior white doe, who had been in a trio.
So me and my 4H soon-to-be leader/main knowledge person tried to figure out what they were. They're most likely mixes, but right now we think she most resembles a florida white. Perhaps a poor NZ. It would have helped if we new the age. lol!
So I plan on growing her out. I'll breed her to my chestnut ("sandy?") flemish/cali cross. And see what we get. XD I wish the flemmie didn't have that harlequin'd tummy. I would have loved to have stuck him in the purebred flemish class for my last year of 4H. (You can only take either purebreds or pets. He's my fitting and showing rabbit, so... I guess I either get to chose an awesome fitting and showing bun for state next year, or my army of dwarfs. XD)
Gaaah, I'm so excited. But sooo not trying to get attached at all. XD I think I'm avoiding naming her. for now she's the "poopy pee bunny" according to that 4H person. lol! We'll go with that.
