Toby's nose has been a bit damp for a couple of days. Nothing soaking, nothing crusty, nothing discoloured. Just a bit moist. Is this something that I should be concerned about? Does it necessitate a vet visit? Any idea what it could be?

Is it just the fleshy nose part? or including some of the fur around the nose?
How are his eyes?
any sneezing, snorting?
Appetite?
Behaviour as normal?

Appetite, behaviour, everything normal.

He has been sneezing a bit, but he has since I got him. Figured it was minor allergies or something, and his nose was never wet before. Now when he sneezes it SOUNDS wet, if you know what I mean. Like he's got some snot in there :p No snorting.

Eyes are bright and clear, no discharge.

He has been shedding lately if that could have anything to do with it.

Not sure what you mean about the fleshy bit, his whole nose is furry. Just the very edge is a bit wet/dried crusty, attached a picture so you can hopefully see. Thanks for the help :)

I booked an appointment anyways with one of the vets listed on here. If there's anything to tell I'll update when I get home.

Edit: Oh... I've never been to the vet before... Toby is my first pet in my 22 years of life :p what do I bring? Should I put hay in his carrier? Water? Should I bring poops for the vet???

Muffin always has a tiny bit of wetness on her nose, but never sounds congested. Hope the vet goes well--you usually don't need to bring poos especially since he doesn't have GI complaints. Some vets want to do a fecal yearly but it's probably not needed. I would definitely put hay in with him and attach a water bottle to the side if you have one and he'll drink from it. A bowl would be a disaster. Bring any and all papers you have on him, from the shelter, breeder, previous owner, etc. Write down what you feed him and his litter type/brand unless you can remember it.
