I just got Weston 3 days ago from a pet store. He had never seen a litter box before but as soon as I got him home he started using the one in his cage and has only had 1 or 2 accidents in his cage.
Playtime is a different story. Each day I have him on my bed with me for 2-6 hours (depending on the day). I have a playtime litter box but he refuses to use it. I even put hay in it because I read that they like to eat while going potty. I have potty pads on my bed so it's not a huge deal, but I would just really like to not have to worry about pee and poo getting on me and my blankets. And it's definitely a turn-off for guests when they see crap on my bed.
Any advice? Oh, Weston is between 2 and 3 months.

Maybe you're going too fast too soon. He sounds like he's doing remarkably well.

As soon as he 'goes' on your bed, he should be placed into his cage & 'it' should go into the litter box there. Wait at least a half hour before putting him on your bed again. I suggest you get an xpen [exercise pen] in your room, put a litter box there, & join him on the floor. I think that will work better than on your bed, at least until he's older, like maybe after he's neutered.
