Welcome home, new kitty!

We left work at 3:45 to drive out a half hour away to get our new kitty. He is finally clear of ring worm! We picked "Thomas" out two weeks ago and have been waiting *patiently* for this day . He is a grey & white DSH. He is 3 months old and already neutered with all shots and testing done.

Right now the new kitty and Juju are "bonding" in our bedroom. I put the litter box, food, and water in there. Juju is camped out on the bed and the new kitty is under the bed. When I go in there, the new kitty comes out to see me...then Juju gets jealous and they both hiss at each other. No swating or anything, so I hope they will be comfortable with each other in about a week.

His tongue was sticking out a little bit, here, lol....

ETA: He needs a name! Preferably a name that starts with a "T". It doesn't have to be a human name, but I don't want it to be a generic kitty name, either. Preferably something not common .

If you look close in person, he has 2 heart patterns on his side .


I'm searching the net now, too, to find a perfect name. I want something very uncommon.

The baby kitty did well last night. He found a straw wrapper from a Capri Sun and played with it for literally an hour straight.

He kept jumping up on the bed with us and purring so loud in my face that I kept waking up.


Ryan and I think we have created a larger monster! We got Juju a brother (Zaide) in the first place because Juju was so into me that it was annoying. He would follow me every where, cry if he couldn't find me, always had to be touching me. We felt bad, so that is how Zaide came along. Zaide, from the start, was pretty independent kitty, which made Juju be more independent.

Now, we wonder if our new kitty is going to be a total "people kitty" like Juju....thus, creating a huge monster.

he's still pretty young...and in a new place...he may calm down yet! Bella didn't really "grow up" till she was almost two....and she still has her moments.....(usually at 3am!)

We got our two "younger" kitties about a month apart and it took them only a few weeks to bond. They are completely inseperable now. (4yrs later) They fight like siblings, chase each other up and down the hall...and snuggle when they sleep. I'm sure your guys just need time to get to know each other. TB still wakes me up like clockwork at 5am though.

He's super cute, I love his unconventional markings. Cats tend to be very simetrical, and I've always loved when both sides don't match. Makes them more unique. His name will come to you. I doesn't matter what name we pickwe never call them by that name. They pick up some nickname along the way that sticks.

Sammy met the kitty and they did fine. Sammy ignores the cats, unless they run...he likes to chase them, but he never hurts them. The kitty hissed and swatted, Sammy got the picture .

He's still in the bedroom, now, but the door is left open in case he wants to venture out here. He is such a little lover!


Ryan and I think we are going to take Alicia and her Husband's (Rob) suggestion of the name "Tiberius" (hope I spelled that right!). We will call him "Tibi" for short. We are going to get to know him more and then decide fully what his name will be .

Alicia has a rabbit named "Chibi"....so we thought it would be funny because her bunny and my new kitty look a like, too!

Congratulations! He is very stunning... his pattern is so unique, almost backwards! Usually the white is on their legs and tummies, but the grey on his legs makes them seem very long and slender.

His name is definitely "Tibi" , that is what we will be calling him. His full name is "Tiberius Tibi Toodles"! Juju's is "Jupiter Juju Doodles" .

Tibi is soooo a mama's boy, just like Juju. As we speak, he is playing with my hair and sitting on my shoulder. He keeps "kissing" my lips.


Ehh....Juju is mad at me and is glaring at Tibi sucking up to me. My poor Juju!

Tibi is a beautiful cat, awww :inlove:! He reminds me a bit of my Brewster, similar shaped muzzle and leggy body, and you gotta love patchy coloured cats!

Hopefully Juju doesn't get too jealous or he might go have a tantrum and camp out in the dog run .

Actually, Juju has been spending less time outside, it seems . He still goes out there a lot, but spends less time out there when he does.
