Weird phone calls..

I keep getting weird phone calls, on my home and cell phone. The home phone , when someone calls the display says 'Incomming Call'. We have caller id but it never changes from 'Incomming Call' if it was a blocked number it would say " Private Name, Private Number". When I pick up all I get is the dial tone.

When it's my cell phone it says 'Unknown'. And when I pick up it is like someones talking but its muffles and sped up. It's usually a guy voice but once or twice it's been a girl. I can never make out what they say =/.

It's usually around 10:30 amfor my cell phone and3:30- 5:00pmfor the home phone. I called Telus, my cell phone provider and they said they have no records of that number calling me. They honestly think i'm nuts. I even got my mom to call, and she has heard the calls I get and they still say no one is calling me. (example) My mom called me at 10, The unknown number called at 10:30 and my brother called at 11. All they can see is my mom and my brother.

It's pretty freaky, are you guys supersticious ?

maybe its some one from the otherside trying to get in contact wth you... if you beleive in those things

Once, someone tried to call my cell phone, but I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Later, I hit redial on it, but I got the "this number has been disconnected" message. I looked up the number on the internet, but all I could find was that it was a land line in Utah. Weird.

Maybe the number calling you has some sort of weird blocking on it to prevent your phone from recognizing it?

If there was a block it would say 'Private Name Private Number '

What about a fax machine. I have had that happen in the past... Some one accidentally put my number into their fax machine andit called me a few times trying to send a fax. Of course I couldn't receive anything as I do not own a fax maching myself.

it would make squeal-y noises if it was a fax, i think.

that's really weird, i got a call on sunday evening at about 5pm in the middle of youth group and it was unknown or something. it didn't come up as anything, just unknown. i'm with at&t, for what it's worth. i don't really believe in the whole 'other side contact' stuff and junk like that, but i have to admit, now you've got me curios(sp?) as to who called me Brandy! the only people that have my number are my mom, grandparents on one side and a few friends(like, two)-most of which i was with at the time! and they wouldn't have given it out, sooooo..........?.....
