Last night, I took out snowball, my calmest female. When she came out of my arms, she immediately went to stand under my male bunny's cage and started doing this weird behavior. She would snort a little, then stomp her back feet. She seemed to be trying really hard to make a big thud. None of my bunnies have ever done this before. I'm wondering if it is normal. She has been less energetic than usual, also. She's super sweet, loving, and cuddly. Do you have any tips?

Stomping is a buns way of alerting to danger. It is a normal bun behavior. Some buns will thump more than others. Out of my three I have one that thumps a lot more often than the other two.

Soft snorting sounds are often made by female bunnies ready to mate, though fixed bunnies have been known to make them also. This is part of the mating ritual where the female is inviting the male to show her attention. This sound is never used aggressively.
