My rabbit Penguin has been on a diet for about a week and she has already lost 0.2KG. We are feeding her and her partner Minstrel separetley as he is small and can't afford to lose any weight. Now, when Penguin is in the garden she is a lotmore lively and active than she used to be.

Can eating less and losing weight change their behaviour?

I am on a diet as well and feel more lively when I lose weight! Does it have the same effect on rabbits?

Yeh, it does.

They will feel healthier and more lively and alert (a risk of weightloss can mean the feistyness might cause problems with the bonded pair so watch otu for Minstell and he he reacts with her).

I would slow down her weightloss a bit though, if they lose it too fast it can damage their liver.

We will slow the weight loss down a bit. She will be pleased about that! :p Minstrel lets her know when he has had enough of her. She seems to mount Minstrel when she gets excited! :D
