We had a fabulous time at the show! It was small, but very organized and well-run.
Maxine entered her first 6/8 class...and won! That makes for 3 wins, in 3 shows. I really love that rabbit, and can't wait to get some babies out of her!
Kitty took her 3 Californian does. Unfortunately, Trisha weighed in at 9 pounds (good thing we weighed BEFORE the show!), so she had to be bumped up into the 6/8 class. There were 26 youth Cal entries, so fairly big.
Alfie (the doe I bought for nothing more than a meat pen producer for the Fair!), won the 6/8 doe class. She beat out Trisha, who took 3rd. Twila (the doe I really like) took 3rd in senior.
No more shows now until the 6th. That's our 4-H club show, and I've been informed I WILL be writing for it. And Kitty has to work the food both from 6:45 until 8:15. Kitty said, "But I'm barely even awake that early." LOL
We were going to go to a show this weekend, but it's over 3 hours. And the only 2 that could go are Max and Trisha (the rest are bred). So I'm skipping this one, reluctantly. It's too bad, because this is going to be a pretty big show.
