I was searching things about rabbits on google, and with my Norton Internet Security, it has a Gree Tick if the webpage is secure and a question mark if it isnt that safe (basically, the question mark means it can give you a virus!). Usually, the pages with a grey question mark beside it, are safe!

So, since my Internet Security was running properly & notifys me of Virus' I clicked on the page because I thought it might have good information. When I clicked on it, a small thing popped up saying :

"Warning - Webpage!!!
Your computer is at risk!!! This webpage has a big virus! Please download the Protection software!! It is free and wont harm your computer. Click ok to download it"

Then something else popped up saying something like "Running Tests" and it has a whole list (about 30?!) of virus' that were supposed to be on my laptop. I thought "This isnt right", so I quickly X-ed off of the page and opened my Norton Computer Security on my laptop. I clicked Run quick scan, and there is no viruses at all on my laptop!

Thank God, my mam bought the disk for the internet security :p

That happend to a good friend of mine..
His computer crashed after accepting the 'protection software'

It's pretty funny how only a few sites, back in the day had viruses and you had to download something to get them (music, movies.. ect) and now just visiting a webpage can be fatal for a computer.

Thank god you didn't go ahead with it, though

Im so glad I didnt click "Ok" when it asked me did I want this "Protection" thing! Its kinda hard to tell if the webpage is lying or not(you know what im sayin' ?!)

Btw Brandy - hope your staying on RO :)
