my friend wendy and her family are going to florida for 3 weeks and ive said i'll look after her hamster whilst she is away

she did say mind he has exercise daily

i dont no what lucy will think when she she sees a hamster in a play ball

i hope she doesnt get gelious

Oooh, I love hamsters! I love watching them stuff their little cheeks, such a clever trick.

My bunnies get very jealous of my cats, they'd probably get jealous of the hamster if they saw me petting it.

I have a longhaired Syrian hamster, and I love him! He gets to come out for about an hour each evening for exercise (plus he has a huge cage and exercise wheel that he runs on a lot!). I'd never put him in an exercise ball though, they're really controversial on the hamster forum I belong to. Not enough ventilation. Just make sure you don't leave him in there for too long! Plus, they can break open if he smashes into anything, too. Good luck with him though, should be fun

We have a hamster, too.

I've let the rabbits around her when she's in her exercise ball and they are afraid of it! They are not used to balls moving around by themselves!

I have two hammies....TJ and Angel....TJ is a long haired syrian(or a teddybear/shorthaired syrian cross)and Angel is a shorthaired syrian. Angel isn't mine though,I adopted it for my sister's pregnancy and eventually the kid---the diseases that can be passed on through them aren't good for her or the baby. I used to have another hammie but she died a month ago :tears2:her name was Teddi and the best hammie ever!

Speaking of hamsters....two hammie cages need cleaned right now, I think i'll go do that!:sweep

You can get Syrians in the UK, Varna. They've been there since 1839.
