I am so excited, we got the house we wanted!! No more apartment living. It's cute isn't it? 3bed 2bath 1600sq feet. Gorgeous mountain views.

We would like to fix up the yard, not sure just how yet though. We are going to do something!

There is a beautifuly tiled eat in kitchen, where we are going to put the nic condo. i'm so excited!

Do you guys over there in California have "rock lawns"? I moved to Arizona from New York (nice and grassy!) and it was the first time I have ever seen anyone decorate their lawns with rocks. I guess it's too hard to grow grass out here.

I thought "rock lawns" were nuts when I first came here. In NY you don't want rocks on your lawn because the lawn mover would be ruined if you ran over them. You were supposed to pick the rocks off the lawn.

I thought "how in the junk do these people mow their lawns?!"

ha! i know exactally what you mean. lol my parents moved to az and have a rock lawn decorated with other colored rocks. ca has grass, just this house is the exception.

Beautiful house, is it a Bungalow? That's my dream one day to have a bungalow, we have a 2 story right now and the stairs kill me since the car accidents.

The eat in is something like a breakfast nook. It's a dining room thats a part of the kitchen. There is also an adjoining dining room. It's quite large for a breakfast nook. It's easily the size of a small bedroom.

As for the additions, we are leasing with a buy option. I was hesitant to buy because of the lot. I would really like some grass in the yard. lol. So if we do descide to buy it, then possibly. We were lucky that she was willing to lease to us when I told her just how many pets we had. We are paying a very large deposit. Upwords of $3000.

The house uses propane instead of natural gas. Anyone have experiance with propane? I know I need to call and hire a service and rent a tank from them or buy one. There is no tank there now, as the place is new. What do prices look like? I was shocked by all the options and most of them involving "price lock."

Also I need to find out today if we get mail delivery, or we need a PO box... I've already talked to the cable company and they have to come out and lay cable, because there is none. They are saying that should be done by March 15th.
