its (the tank/vivarium) just sitting there and I swear its telling me to put some animal in it! lol :p so has anybody got an idea?

Before the idea pops up

1. I am not gonna buy out of impulse
2. I am not gonna buy* or adopt something for the sake of it.

The tank is 1'x2.5' - it was bought for our baby bearded dagon and he soon grew out of it and started living with another male. So now its empty, we have a plastic water bowl/cave (bowl in the top cage inside), a rock cave and 2 of he cooling rocks. oh and a heat lamp that goes up to 92F / 35C .

Thanks, all suggestions apreciated

Well, that's a good place for a frog!

Whites Tree Frogs are really nice. Mom has some (and other frogs/toads) and they are very social. One likes to sit and watch tv with her.

you could put a Leopard Gecko in there. i was looking into one, but mom doesn't like the scaley-e type things, and getting a pet that 2 out of3 members of our family couldn't stand(Mom and Emily)wasn't the thing i/we wanted/needed to do, so that idea's been put on hold for the fore see able future. Jade Icing(i know i messed up something about that user name, but i can't figure out what...............:grumpy:!)has a leo.

http://www.geckoforums.net is a very good forum to learn about them on if your interested. good luck with what ever you get!

I love my Jax.

Thanks for the replys everyone!

JadeIcing - would the tank be big enough (1 foot x 2.5 foot) ? I am worried that the tank will be tiny for him/her if I got one.

I love leopard geckos :biggrin2:problem is you need to be willing to deal with the bugs it eats :)I personally don't believe in anything but feeding them live bugs but I guess that is a personal opinion. :)

Geckos are AWESOME! I want a gecko!!!

of course pamnock would probably say a tarantula...

I have a pacific tree frog. He's soo cute. I got him last Friday. Well we "captured" him. He's really a sweet boy, and he trusts me and my sister and doesn't "hop" away. We have him in a little tank in my sister's room. We had to buy a new tank cuz I use them all for my fishery. ;) lol.

Tree frogs are really nice, but you just gotta know exactly what to feed them. We have the pellet stuff from the store, but i'm not sure if Prince (my froggy) eats it. We give him about 4 a day, as well as 3-6 live bugs (flies, etc.) per day. So he has a variety of food. He has a rock to sit onas an island in his pool, and he has a rocky beach and twigs.

Mice are nice pets and entertaining to watch, providing their cage is set up like a jungle gym. The rule is one male to a 10 gallon or two-three females to a 10 gallon :).

How about spoil some gerbil? :biggrin2:

I agree. But get 2. or 3.

Yes, I only got 1 and it was a big mistake thats why she has a cage called "pink princess palace" and it really is a palace everything is pink and there is lots of tunnels to keep her occupied so she doesn't get lonely.
