i just couldnt help but falling in love withhim! hes such a gentle giant lol he is actually atthe vet right now for his neuter :? im hoping he doesok the vet was to call me after he was done with surgery tolet me know how things went. i took him in at 2pmand they said they would do it this afternoon and i could pick him uptomorrow :) now he will be a polite house bunny and not alittle horn ball lmbo i think we are gonna go ahead and keephis name the same also. the previous owner named himcadbury. poor little guy had such anawful past that i just couldnt let him go. the first ownerwho had him got tired of him and threw him in a dumpster at herapartment complex :mad:3 days later a gentleman throwing somegarbage in there found him got him out but decided he couldnt keep himso he was passed to another lady. she only kept him a fewweeks and then he got passed on to the person i got him from.she had to many animals and was advised by child services that sheneeded to get rid of most of them. the reason i gotcadbury. but she did take really good care of him and alsotrained him to work around special needs children. he is verycalm doesnt care about being handled and is just the sweetest thing inthe world. i told my husband last nite that ireally wanted to keep him and hes like ok thats fine lol glad to havesuch a wonderful husband. well today i called the vet and hesaid well bring him down to day and we can do a neuter! so icalled hubby back and asked if i could take him in and hes like sure goahead he needs to have it done!! :)so its officialhe is ours! and never ever going anywhere else to live!

Aw how sweet! Congrats, always nice to have a home for a new bunny! :)

I saw at the MHRS website that a dutch bunny had also been thrown intoa dumpster, looks like some kind of easter bunny throw away thing. ManI hate people. :/

Anyway, I've been contemplating adopting a bunny for a while now and Ihad my eye on that silver martin you had at your rescue, but I didn'tsee him at petfinder so I assume he got a home, and thats okay, itswhats im;portant. XP (but you can maybe expect me sometime!)

lol yeah I do tend to check there first, but it isn't a huge dealbecause I want to continue thinking on it a bit more... even though itsbeen in my mind a couple of months now! But I'm really looking for alittle sister for them, they're really sweet guys and I imagine they'llget along quite well with a third and final bunny. I just need to findthe right one, and your site is the first one I look at since your'enot too far away, lol.

well if your interested i can send you an application through email tofill out. once approved you can pick outa rabbit that is available or if you dont see one that you areinterested in you can wait til another bunny comes in :) onceapproved i will hold the application for up to 3months. i have all parties agree to have the bunnyspayed or neutered if it has not already been done. you caneither use our rescue vet or your own. i allow a 2 weekperiod for the spay /neuter to be done but if more time is needed icompletly understand that and will allow for xtratime. adoption fees for a rabbit are10.00 spay through our vet is 140 neuter throughour vet is 100 if you decided that you want to havehim or her fixed prior to going home payment is to be made to the vetclinic and the bunny must remain in my care for a minimum of one weekto insure they are healing well and that they dont pull out stitches;) please feel free to read up on my site for moreinfo on adoption rules if you need the link it is

i just want to insure that each rabbit is going into a wonderful homeand will live a long and healthy life! i fully believe eachrabbit should be spayed/ neutered if it is going to be a pet.

and if you have any more questions you can always feel free to email me or pm me
