Hi Im JoAnn and my daughter is a 4Her.

We are looking to add rabbits to her 4H this year and this looks like a good place to learn some stuff. We have been involved with poultry and dairy mostly and we still do that to.

Ok I'm off to look around the forum now.:run:

:welcome1 Glad you found us! This is a great place to learn about everything "RABBIT"! ...the 4-H program is wonderful! Good luck to your daughter! WELCOME!

WELCOME!

What state are you in, JoAnn?

Zin's so efficient down below me I thought I should add that my son (16) and daughter (12) are in 4H here. They show horses, and son has sheep, and a rabbit this year. They also do a bunch of non-animal projects.

I love seeing 4H families. I think it's a great program!

Welcome JoAnn-My boy's are in the local 4H Rabbit and Swine programs, I handle Californians and New Zealand's, please let me know if I can lend you a hand in any way!

Welcome to RO! I know you'll find everything you want to learn here and if not, i've learned that the members here almost always know where to look for what you need. I hope you both find it useful and homely here! I know that I do :groupparty:

Thank you all!!

Someone asked what state I am in. Northern California.

Just about as far north and west as you can go and still be in California and not Oregon or the ocean.

This most likely isnt the spot to post this but I'll do it anyway then go look around for the right place to post it, hummm did that make sence:D

I am having a really hard time finding some NZW's. Is their anyone in the real northwestern part of California or southwestern Oregon that has any nice NZW's for sale?

Thanks.

The breeder's forum might be where to ask that. They might know someone. I can't think of a NZW breeder from here - but they all know everyone I swear! LOL!

Hi Jo-Ann! Welcome to the RO Family! :D

I can't wait to hear about all your guys' rabbits and hear how your kids are doing in showing, etc! You're right...this is absolutely the BEST place around to learn about buns! Be sure to check out what the Lagomorph Library has to offer by way of information! :D

Also, Bo B Bunny's right...asking that in the Rabbitry section would be your best bet! :thumbup

Hugs!
