Now that Rue has discovered her love of climbing things and getting as high up as possible(I have had to rabbit proof my book shelf). What are safe ways to entertain her new found love?
Her cage is a big dog crate that is 2 feet high 2 feet wide and 3 1/2(ish) feet long. She isn't going to become very big I don't think.
I am thinking of somehow adding some different levels to it, which means getting a smaller litter box which is fine for me now that shes pretty much got that figured out.
Otherwise for when she has free run of the apartment when I am home what are different things I can give her that I don't have to worry about her falling and hurting herself? Right now she is only about 1lb 4oz at 2 months old. I don't think she will be big as her Mom wasn't very big. I had thought about cat climbing posts but they are to expensive and id be scared of her hurting herself.
Ideas? Her current cage set up
She likes to climb on the little log hut thing and her food and water dish are on top of a shoe box behind her "litter box" and she tends to sleep on the shoebox or in the little cardboard tube. She likes to try and walk across the tube as well. Anything she can climb and shes on it.
So ideas please!! We are thinking about setting her cage up so that we can open the top to access her food dish easier so I don't have to crawl through the cage on my hands and knees to reach it haha
