Our one rabbit, Emma, bounces back and forth in terms of her water consumption.
It'll decrease (and often contributes to her having gut pain and digestive slowdown). So I'll syringe her extra water (w/ a little Critical Care for flavor) until she seems to start drinking more on her own.
Then her water consumption starts to slowly increase until she's drinking nearly her entire crock within 24 hours' (or less). During this time, of course, she urinates a lot.
For nearly 1.5 weeks', she'd been drinking nearly her entire crock. But for the last two days, her consumption has decreased. (She barely drank anything overnight.)
I also notice that she's been playing much more frequently with her plastic rings that hang on her x-pen bars. She normally plays with them, but not for nearly an hour straight.
What on earth could be causing this behavior/digestive issues? (We've done every possible test on her except for an ultrasound and head/mouth x-rays.)
Thank you,
Jenk
