I wasn't sure where to post this..but here goes.

Today is the first "hot" day that we've had so far, so there are wasps and bugs a plenty, and I'm so scared that they're going to try to build nests inside of the rabbit cages. Has anyone tried any of the "rabbit safe" sprays to keep them at bay? Last year, they weren't bad at all..I didn't find one nest in the cages..but this year it just seems like there are SO many wasps..maybe I'm just being paranoid..:/

I don't really have experience with outdoor buns, so hopefully someone else will come along.

Can you get any kind of moisquito netting? I'm thinking you could put that over the cage to keep bugs out.

I would also imagine most sprays are toxic to buns, but there may be something you can rub on the outside of the hutch, where the bunny can't reach it and chew, to deter the bugs.

my rabbits are all indoor,,but a bug is a bug,,i have electronic bug killers,,4 i would say in my facility--this might be worth the investigating...sincerely james waller...or try screen door screening.??
