hi all

i dont no if ive mentioned this before but i want to change lucyslitter it is just the shavings are to messy for the lounge carpet

i did get in touch with the lady who did woody pet but the carrier charge was going to be around 20 pounds

i fancied trying either carefresh or yesterdays news

any ideas on litters you use that dont make a mess would be great

varna xxxx

there are things similar to woody pet as well, not sure what they are called in your area, but maybe some other UKmembers can help us out on that..

I use Carefresh. I triedseveral litters before I settled on that one. Yesterdays Newswas good, but Sparky liked to dig in it and those pellets can fly allthe way across the room.

Hi Varna!! :)

If you are having problems with the shavings being too messy, I would use the carefresh. You'll have the same problem.

Yesterdays News is very good ... and I would recommend it!

I just bought a new litter today, its called ExquisiCat Pine litter its looks exactly like woody pet ...

oh oh and I also found that now Kaytee makes a compressed weed pellet ..but its rather expensive around $7 for 8lbs

I use crumbled corn cob litter for my rabbits. It's very absorbent, and it's pretty cheap, four bucks for 35 pounds. Ihave heard/read a lot about the shavings being bad for them, and Idon't know if that is true or not but if it is the corn cobs at leastwon't cause them any problems.
