Tis the season - I'm on the prowl for textbooks . . .

I need the Little Brown Handbook (Aaron). 2007 ISBN: 0205585752

Anybody have one that they want to sell?

I'll also be looking for an anatomy text (don't have an ISBN yet)

Anyone else buying/selling textbooks?

For homeschoolers, I have some Abeka K4, K5 and 1st grade stuff.

The A&P book I need is 978-0-07-287509-6

Saladin - Anatomy & Physiology (I already have the CD's)

Amazon.com has some excellent prices - I got some anatomy study guides really cheap. Hoping to get my anatomy text on ebay.

I'll ask my neighbors as they home school. Their kids are all under the age of 12 so I don't know if they would have the books. I'm thinking these are probably for Matthew?

We used to have the Book Smith in Medina, a small family owned book store. They got all the home schooling materials and were an excellent place for used and new books and special orders. Sadly, when Border's came to town, they could no longer compete and closed up shop. Border's may have a larger selection but they will never have the small town personal service the Book Smith offered.

I'm looking for college texts for myself and 2 of my kids.

A friend sold me all her 4th and 5th grade books for Matthew - so he's all set for the next 2 years ;)

I may have the Little Brown Handbook. I think I bought it for first year english.

I'm not sure if I still have it or not. I would have to dig through my books and see.

I don't need the book and I haven't used it since first year.

If I have it, I will let you know Pam. I don't know if it would be super cost effective to ship it though, but we can look into it.

I would try Half.com, I got all my books there last year. I chose anywhere from "good" to "like new" and some of them came still-wrapped, for like 1/4 of the price!

Thanks Dawn! I'm bidding on one today on ebay for $34. It seems to be the most elusive book for me to get cheap.

My son signed up for his college classes today. The full list of books isn't listed yet, but I found 1 he needed for $7 and my daughter has the algebra book.

Can't believe some of the good deals I'm finding!

Most certainly will check that site out! Three of us are enrolled in college classes, so I need to buy a lot of books!
