I said last week I was going to take Spice for a walk in the park and never got around to it then but I did today!

There was no school so I took him into the school yard across thestreet from my house which is mostly fenced. He was so busy running upand down part of the chain link fence to go explore the rest of theopen school yard.

I got some laughs as people walked down the sidewalk and noticed I hada white bunny (which is hard to see far away because of the snow) on abright colored leash and was walking him. I also got weird looks frompeople walking dogs, lol.

All in all it was a short but good outing. Spice didn't flip out at theleash and harness and he obeyed my tugs (to stop running forward only,LOL).

The worst part was taking the harness off of him. I put him in hisoutdoor enclosed run and he flipped! He ran away and when he reachedthe end of the leash he started panicking and running harder. I finallydropped the leash and took the harness off him when he had run to thesafety of his corner. I don't know why he flips out in his run but notin the open, but oh well, at least it isn't the other way around!

That sounds like a lot of fun!

I wish the weather was warmer and I could take the bunnies to the park again. The kids really like petting Rex :)

i take Austin out in to the fields by my houseevery other day he loves it and so do all the kids they come out to seehim he tends to try to chew through his lead though

When I used to take Nepo onhis leash in my yard he used to go without me holding his leash( Ifollowed him). So I don'tknow what'll happen ifIhold hisleash, he might thinkI'm chasinghim, lol.

MBB, I'd be mad if people looked at me weird, especially if they're walking a dog:X.

Naw...it's a lot more fun to smile pleasantly and say "Hello!" :D

Anyway it's more their curiosity of something different than anything else.

It's a great icebreaker. Bunnies are natural people magnets.

When I'm out in the yard with Elf on the leash, people will actually pull their cars over to look at her. Some of themwill pass, and then back up to stop and look at her. I EVEN had acouple stop and get out with a camera to take a picture of her! She'ssuch a lil star. :D

SO true!!! When we got Bo and I was carrying him in his cage from oneside of the fairgrounds to the other, I bet I got stopped 20times! It was hilarious too, cause most were men showingtheir children the baby bunnies..... and the men were trying tostick their fingers in the cage to touch him and bent down talking tohim..... :D

In that case I better drop the bunnies from their public walks! I hatepeople and I don't like meeting new people either. I get nervous aroundpeople and I much rather avoid that situation. :p
