That is soo funny, and strangely true, i actually wake up because my cat is hitting and stroking my face! Note to self, ban cat from internet!

LOL! My cat does this to me everyday, right down to the face slapping when kneeding doesn't work. (No claws, thank goodness!) I'm sure if she could lift a bat, I'd have been hit with it!
