I brought my little baby dutchies upstairs theother day to play with in my room. They did the hop hop all over theplace. They're the two smallest ones in the litter. The motheroriginally had 4, but one died because she got stupid an stoppedfeeding them, so I gave the remaining 3 babies to my awesome mom, whois now taking care of all 7 and doing wonderfully. They're startin' toget fat now. Hopefully they'll catch up to the other ones soon.
The foster mum had all blacks....and the imported litter consisted ofone black and 2 blues (in the video). Right now the black is so scrawnyits easy to tell him from the originall litter, but when he bulks up abit I fear I won't be able to know who's who. I thought about putting alittle marker dot in his ear...but its still so small and the skin isstill reallydark, I Dont' think I'd be able to see it. I thought aboutmaybe just putting a dot of white acyllic paint on an ear tip, but Iwondered would that get absorbed and hurt him? And if mummy or asibling groomed him and ate it that might be bad. Any other suggetionsfor marking the tiny boy?
Oh yeah here's the video. ITs nothing too special, I just enjoywatching the babies do that adorable in between crawl/hop thing at thisstage. I put my cell phone on the floor to gie a size comparison. Yesthats a cell phone. After being attacked by my german sheperd mix about5 tiems and vibrating off the table and smashing itself into oblivion afew times. I have to dial with a pen or pencil, and texting getsdifficult because I ....don't have numbers/letters. Incoming callsthrow me in a panic if I can't find a stick or something to answerit. The phoen also has no back, so the battery sticks out inback. Mum says she wants to get me a new phone for xmas. But this onestill works so I told her no. Isn't that weird? Mum wants tobuy her daughter a phone, daughter says no she doesn't need one. guh?
