I know the feeling! I'm right smack in the middle of bothstates in question! I can reach the Indiana border in 15 minutes andthe Kentucky boarder in about 3 hours.

I live in Illinois also and am very worriedabout it. Here in the U.S there have only been 4 outbreaks recorded sopeople/vets dont take it very seriously...at least enough to requirevaccinations.

Which part would you like explained? Are you not familiar with the disease, or the way it isspread? This artcle explains much of what you need to know.

I don't want to scare you, but VHD (Viral Hemorrhagic Disease) is anasty, scary disease. Another example of a hemorrhagicdisease is ebola, which we thankfully don't have here.
