Hello everyone...never posted in this section before but I am so excited! My husband and I just got the clear to close on our house! We are finally homeowners! Yeah! Well....when we get the keys in a couple of weeks anyway...but still very excited! Had to tell someone.:biggrin2:arty:

Thanks everyone. I will take a bunch of pics once we are in and everything is straightened out.

Dont worry mouse...it will happen eventually. Took us almost 7 yrs. That is why Im so excited....more relieved than anything. I wanted my kids to have a sense of security and a place to call their own. I feel accomplished!

This is great - I'm so happy for you.

Art & I bought our first home 4 years ago - he's now 50 and I'm 48.....took us a while (20+ years of being in the military and moving around kept us from wanting to get tied into a mortgage).

Enjoy your new home as soon as you get the keys!

Congratulations! Where in upstate NY? We are southeast of Rochester.

It took us 10 years but was so worth it.

Yeah, it sounds like it would be exciting..and it is in the beginning, but my husband and I got so frustrated so fast it ruined the fun. My advice, make sure you are working with a competent realtor...one that wants to work for you. Trust me on this.
