I came across a new toy in the pet store yesterday for Bandit which I just trialed today. It's a cat toy called the Vena Contempo treat dispenser. It's not designed like a normal treat ball, it's designed so that it's difficult to get the treats out.

The dispenser is sort of the shape of a jellybean and is weighted on the bottom with holes on the top. This means, that the dispenser will always move the holes to the top, so it's more of a challenge to get the treats out than just rolling a ball around (which Bandit seems to find too easy). I wanted something that would occupy him for longer.

He's managed to get treats out of it a couple of times, but he hasn't quite worked it out yet, they just fall out because he gets lucky and tips it the right way. If you're going to try it with your bunny, I would recommend first time use on a non-slippery surface like carpet or foam mats etc. If you put it on tile, when your bunn pushes it it won't really tip at all, it just slides along.

Here's an amazon link to the product: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058OE3R4/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
And here's a better image of it: http://piscespets.com/admin/scripts...359contempo_vena_treat_dispenser_for_cats.jpg
For those who are interested, it's about 10cm (4 inches) long and 5cm (2 inches) wide.

Also, does anyone know where I can get willow balls in Australia? :p Pet stores don't seem to have them and I don't know what the deal is in regards to ordering from overseas and quarantine etc.
