veggie mouf

I noticed the other day that the white fur around the corners of my holland lop's mouth has turned a bit green... she LOVES her veggies, so I can only assume it's a case of "veggie mouf". is there anything I can do to keep this from happening? would it help if I dried off the veggies before I gave them to her? (I'm not concerned about hydration - she's got a close, personal relationship with their water bottles)

Nothing comes to mind--our checkered giant is the same, her mouth is the same color as whatever she just ate.

I call that mulchy mouth. Shows up very well on a white rabbit. They will lick it off during face cleaning hour.

yeah, I noticed today that it was gone... had thought it might be like her feet where no matter what I do, they end up looking dirty.
