I don't know how close you follow the news, but yesterday two F-15 Eagles collided during a training mission over the Gulf of Mexico, they were based out of Eglin AFB, in the panhandle of Florida. Both pilots had ejected, but one later died from his injuries. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for protecting the freedoms we enjoy.

Please remember the family of this pilot in your thoughts and prayers. Their liveswere turned upside down in an instant. I cannot imagine what they are going through right now.

Also remember thesquadron mate of the fallen pilot who was involved in the mishap and thestress and emotional turmoil that he must be going through.

Thank You

Thank you for posting this. A good reminder to keep all the soldiers in the world in our prayers every day for the sacrifices they make. Keep our boys safe . . .

Dave, I read about this and I've been waiting to hear since the last I knew was they were missing. I actually thought of you also.

I'm so sad that one didn't make it. I'll be thinking of him and their families.

I usually am very active in keeping up with the news but in the past week I have been so busy all listening has escaped me.

This is very saddening to read but I am glad you brought this up. These men and families are in our prayers here.

HAGATNA, Guam -- A B-2 stealth bomber plunged to the ground shortly after taking off from an air base in Guam on Saturday, the first time one crashed, but both pilots ejected safely, Air Force officials said.
