SHELTER AT CRISIS CAPACITY & Shelter Volunteers Desperately needed for
weekdays

San Gabriel, CA Please Cross Post

Hello,

We just got three more rabbits in and we are at crisis--if we do not get
at least 5 rabbits out (5 cages, some are in pairs), bunnies WILL get
euthanized.

We have some lovely lops, boys and girls; dwarf mixes, already neutered;
spot mixes, MIXED mixes, sweeties, cuties. . .

Bounder Bee was brought in (along with his brother Atticus) "to be killed"
because the owner said they were vicious and diseased. They are actually
very sweet and bright - but they were un-neutered males, living in a tiny,
filthy cage together and duking it out.

Bounder Bee and Atticus are NOT bonded. They are wonderful bunnies (Mr.
Bee is a rex and Atticus is a shiny and handsome black man)---and they
really want homes. Bounder would do ANYTHING ANYTHING for his own human.
He leaps into my arms when I open his hutch!

Little Carrot is a small precise replica of a Californian. He is friendly
and smart and hates the shelter. His is neutered and would love a
girl-bunny all his own!

Daffy and Bogie are both small bunnies, dwarf mixes, and are both
neutered. Bogie is about 2 years old, white with black markings (a
spot/dwarf mix) and very wonderful and cute; Daffy is orange and white,
about a year old and full of energy!

Joanne is a super gorgeous English Spot (or mix) and she has a lovely
personality. Sudi and Hopalong are an extra sweet couple, and Beau-Beau
would love to be someone's cuddle bun.

Of course there are more, but I need to go medicate some bunnies!

Here's the link to our PetFinder site, where you can see all of the above
bunnies and more!

Please CALL Alex (909)576-8170 or Susan (626)260-2133 if you can adopt
or and help us save some bunnies!

***

We also desperately need weekday volunteers to help at the shelter. Even
one hour one day a week would help. PLEASE - the bunnies need you!

Amy,

I'm not sure if they euthanize....or if they don't have enough space so those rabbits will be euthanized....

I wasn't sure how to take the message exactly...

Zooh Corner euthanizes :X?

That is where I got Mallory and Morgan from.

It is times like these, and the poor lady with the AZ bunnies, that I wish I could foster.

Now that I got my job back, I can atleast help out by donating....but that won't matter if there isn't space for the buns :(.

I know just what you mean. It's what my main drive is in getting a house. We would even be able to find a way to fly those buns out to us, if we had the space to foster them. Really drives me nuts not being able to help...
