URGENT!!! PLEASE CIRCULATE to your friends, family and contacts.

In the coming days, DO NOT open any message with an attachment called: Black in the White House, regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus that opens anOlympics torchthat burns the whole hard disk C of your computer. This virus comes from a known person who you have in your list.

Directions: You should send this message to all of your contacts. It is better to receive this e-mail 25 times than to receive the virus and open it. If you receive a message called Black in the White House even if sent by a friend, do not open, and shut down your machine immediately. It is the worst virus announced byCNN. This new virus has been discovered recently it has been classified by Microsoft as the virus most destructive ever.
This virus was discovered yesterday after
noon by McAfee. There is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the hard disk, where vital information function is stored.

This virus was proved to be a hoax. McAfee has attested to this.

McAfee Avert Labs would like to inform you of an email HOAX.

[line] This email message is just a HOAX. It contains no malicious scripts or malware. McAfee Avert Labs has not received any report of a user's hard drive being erased from opening the email.

The "Black in the White House" Hoax is believed to have first surfaced around December 2009, approximately one year since Barack Obama was elected as the first African American president of the United States of America, though it's possible that the hoax was originally created much earlier in order to use the elections and subsequent celebrations to stoke the social engineering technique used.

It is a slightly revised version of a virus hoax circulating since 2000, known as "A Virtual Card for You" or "Destroys Sector Zero" We are advising users who receive the email to delete it and DO NOT pass it on as this is how an email HOAX propagates.

Bill
It's a good post to alert people to the hoax, so I'm glad that you brought it to our attention.
