Ive been meaning to get on here and update about Olivia's appointment about her nail. Its been crazy in this house with my husbands shift at work changing. He was working from 3:30pm-12am. Now he is working 10 hour shifts from 5am-3:30pm. So its been nuts trying to adjust to the new schedule. And i'm trying to get things ready for my daughters surgery next thursday. I had to take her back to the doctor today because she now has a yeast infection from the antibiotics. :X So now on to Olivia, they are going to remove the nail that is curling from both paws. Only one is curling but they said its only a matter of time before the other one starts to curl. So, when I take her to get spayed, they will remove those 2 nails. My poor little girl is going to be so mad at me:( But, I wil stock up on all of her favorite treats so hopefully she wont hate me for too long ;)

I'm sure Olivia will do well & won't be TOO mad.

When taking a course of antibiotics, I eat plain [without sugar or fruit] yogurt for at least a week & also probiotic capsules from a health store that releases in the intestines.

We were doing the yogurt. But augmentin is so strong and the yogurt didn't help this time :( but I will definitely try the capsules you are talking about next time

The particular one I've taken is by Renew Life. They have different formulas for different needs. I take the senior one for people 50+. They're site is renewlife.com.

But you might want to get something that both your girls, human & rabbit, can use, as I'm doing. Vitacost.com has vitamins, dried fruit, etc & I also got vegetarian capsules of Longest Living Acidophilus by Futurebiotics. The capsules are easy to open, so I just pour a little into Honey's water each day.

You're welcome. I depend on public transportation, which is quite good around here. But large packages are a problem on a crowded bus, so I get lots of things "mail" order.
